Orbit’s Teen/Youth division caters to students ages 10 and up who are ready to take their creative training to the next level. The program is designed to be fun and exciting while giving students a taste of all of the elements of the performing arts. From On-Camera to On-Stage students have the opportunity to explore and absorb techniques to excel not only in the arts, but in life!

GET YOUR STORY OUT- A Creative Writing Class– Ages 10+ ONLINE!

Join filmmaker Alex Preston as you learn the various skills involved in one of the world’s fastest-growing industries. Making A Movie invites creatives to develop critical film production skills: speaking film lingo & terminology, story development, screenwriting, pre-production, shot framing & composition, cinematography, and editing. This class gives students the tools to produce their own short films from start to finish.

Explore the fundamentals of multiple acting techniques borrowing from Sandford Meisner, Uta Hagen and even a little “method” here and there. A great ‘technique’ is the technique you create for yourself by exploring multiple roads to the “truth of the moment”. Join experienced teachers for the the practice of characterization, script analysis and rehearsal level improvisation by exploring truthful preparation and active approaches your work.

Rising Juniors and Seniors and gap year students only

Designed for students in their junior and senior year of high school, this 2 hour intensive program will aid young actors in choosing material for auditions for collegiate and University BFA and BA programs in Acting and Musical Theatre. Staff will provide coaching and assistance on song cuts, monologues and interviews. Opportunities for college application counseling will also be available as well as special guest presenters.
