Masterclass with Broadway’s Lisa Brescia

On Broadway, Lisa has starred as Heidi Hansen in Dear Evan Hansen, Donna in Mamma Mia!, Elphaba in Wicked, Cleo in Twyla Tharp’s The Times They Are A-Changin’, Amneris in Aida, and Marion in Woman in White.  Additional New York and regional credits: Roundabout’s Ordinary Days (Claire), Comedy of Tenors (Tatiana), Winters Tale (Hermione), Hamlet (Gertrude), August: Osage County (Ivy), Sister Play (Anna), The Will Rogers Follies (Betty), Victor Victoria (Victoria), Cabaret (Sally), Side Show (Violet), and Evita (Eva). Lisa is on the Acting faculty at Missouri State University and has her MFA in Classical Acting.

Nancy Opel is a Tony-nominated actress of stage and screen. Her Broadway credits

include Beautiful, Honeymoon In Vegas, Cinderella,

Memphis, Fiddler On the Roof, Gypsy (Patti LuPone revival),

Urinetown: The Musical (Tony Award Nomination, Best

Actress in a Musical, 2002), Triumph of Love, Ring Around

the Moon, Anything Goes, Sunday In The Park With George,

Teddy & Alice, Evita, and Wicked. On screen, she has played in The

Big C, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, Law and Order, Flight

of the Conchords, The Ice Storm, Second Skin, Ryan’s Hope,

One Life To Live, and All My Children. A student of The

Julliard School: Drama Division, Nancy Opel is excited to

return to Orbit Arts Academy this Spring.
